Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Accepting Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
At Alexandra Park Dental, we are excited to announce that we now accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). This Federal initiative aims to enhance access to oral health care across Canada, aligning perfectly with our mission to create confident smiles that radiate health and positivity within our community.
How to Access CDCP at Alexandra Park Dental:
- Notification: Please inform our office at the time of booking and upon arrival if you have previously accessed CDCP benefits from another dental provider.
- Documentation: Ensure you have active coverage and your benefit effective date from your welcome package, along with your CDCP ID number administered by Sunlife. If you need assistance with your ID number, please contact the CDCP Contact Centre at 1-888-888-8110, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Quebec local time.
- Coverage Details: Patients covered under CDCP should expect out-of-pocket costs, as the Federal plan rates are lower than the fee guide published by the Alberta Dental Association.
- Coverage Period: CDCP coverage is effective from July 1 to June 30 annually. Patients are responsible for re-enrollment by July 1 for the next coverage period. We recommend setting a reminder two months prior to your expiry date to avoid administrative delays.
- Service Coverage: While not all dental services are currently covered, advanced services will be phased in by late 2024 and 2025. Our team will provide guidance based on your individual needs.
We are committed to supporting your oral health journey and are eager to assist you in maintaining and improving your overall health with the help of CDCP benefits. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please contact us today.
