Q&A with Dr. Richard W. Lee
Seeing our first patient in our brand new office after relocating from an older site in 2013. I had already been working as a dentist for 3 years, but I was so proud to have an environment designed for me to provide the best care for our patients.
Are you familiar with the anime series Dragonball? I would love to have a tail that could wrap around my waist when I didn’t need it, but could bring it out to hold an extra dental instrument occasionally (without freaking the patient out though!)
Kevin Hart comedy movies and sitcom TV shows. I have been told that I often giggle rather than laugh…
I love commercial aviation and racing cars. I have been collecting small model aircraft that are the size of your hand since I was 12 years old! The details and the beauty in the design of different commercial aircraft are just fascinating to me, especially the Boeing 747, which is my favourite. I can stare at my display cabinet for hours, though that is no longer possible with having a young family. During University, I would spend my summer holidays working for Air Canada just to be close to airplanes ! I have been watching Formula 1 since I was 18 years old and I love the thrill of being in a car on a race track! I really enjoy all the research and development that goes into making a race car fractions of second faster or milligrams lighter, all in attempts to improve lap time. The sophisticated design, detail and precision involved in these industries inspire me to continue to master my craft as a dentist.
